Men’s Round of 16 Called ON At Oi Rio Pro Presented by Coron

The Oi Rio Pro Presented by Corona, Stop No. 8 on the World Surf League (WSL) 2022 Championship Tour (CT), is ON with waves in the four-to-six foot range and light winds. The competition will start at 9:35 a.m. (GMT-3) with the men’s Round of 16. The men’s Quarterfinals will remain on standby for a possible start later today. There will be no competition for the women today.
Current world nr. 2 Jack Robinson (AUS) will be up in the first heat of the day against event wildcard Mateus Herdy (BRA).
Rankings leader Filipe Toledo (BRA) will also face an event wildcard in Miguel Tudela (PER) in Heat 5.
The WSL Tours and Competitions team will make a call on the men’s Quarterfinals later today.
