Ambientado em um vibrante mundo retrofuturista inspirado nos anos 1960, “O Quarteto Fantástico: Primeiros Passos” apresenta a Primeira Família da Marvel—Reed Richards/Senhor Fantástico (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Mulher Invisível (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Tocha Humana (Joseph Quinn) e Ben Grimm/Coisa (Ebon Moss-Bachrach)—enquanto enfrentam seu maior desafio até agora. Forçados a equilibrar seus papéis como heróis e a força dos laços familiares, eles devem defender a Terra de um deus espacial voraz chamado Galactus (Ralph Ineson) e seu enigmático arauto, o Surfista Prateado (Julia Garner). E como se o plano de Galactus para devorar o planeta inteiro e todos nele já não fosse ruim o suficiente, a ameaça se torna ainda mais pessoal.
